The giants of the Spanish capital clash in La Liga on Saturday, as Real Madrid host Atletico Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Blancos are seated at the summit, but Barcelona are just two points behind their Clasico rival.

Atletico have made progress in recent weeks, climbing to third after Sevilla's shocking loss of form.
The Vicente Calderon club has little chance of puncturing the top two places in the division, but pride will be at stake as they battle the Galacticos.

Real Madrid won the first derby of the week when they beat Leganés on Wednesday to continue at the top of the table. Zidane changed the team and Marco Asensio or Morata shone at Butarque. However, they will be on the bench against Atlético Madrid, because BBC should be back in action after resting in the midweek. Varane is the only injury concern for Zizou.

Atlético Madrid travel to Santiago Bernabéu stadium in their best moment of the season. They beat Real Sociedad (1-0) on Tuesday and they sit now in the third position of the table. Simeone’s side will also play Champions League on Wednesday against Leicester City but they are confident to win again at Bernabéu. Moya, Tiago, Augusto and Vrsaljko are sidelined.

Team News

Real Madrid: Despite Marcos Ansensio, Lucas Vazquez, Alvaro Morata and Mateo Kovacic all put in memorable performances midweek, Zidane will play in his traditional 4-3-3 formation with Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo up front. Varane remains the only absentee for Los Blancos.

Atletico Madrid : Diego Simeone still can’t count on long-term absentees Augusto Fernandez, Tiago and Sime Vrsaljko.

Predicted Lineups
